Call of Duty: Dashy Joins The Chicago Huntsmen

The Chicago Huntsmen become the first team to announce a new signing ahead of the 2021 Call of Duty League season.

The 2021 Call of Duty League season officially commenced today. As such, the Chicago Huntsmen become the first team to make a new signing. Today, they announced the signing of Brandon “Dashy” Otell for the 2021 Black Ops Cold War season.

Dashy left OpTic Gaming Los Angeles on September 8 and finds himself on a new roster less than a week later. The 21-year-old has one CDL Championship to his name along with multiple third-place finishes. He is seen as one of the greatest players in the world. He’s pulled off some incredible clutch plays to win his team’s important matches.

Dashy will be reunited with former teammate Seth “Scump” Abner. The two played together under OpTic Gaming during the 2019 Black Ops 4 season. They will be joined by Dylan “Envoy” Hannon and Matthew “Formal” Piper to complete the Chicago Huntsmen’s 2021 starting roster.

On paper, Chicago is set to be one of the best teams in the League for the 2021 season. However, we all know how unpredictable Call of Duty esports can be. Given Dashy’s performances this season, he will need to improve drastically if he is to live up to his expectation next year. For a player of his caliber, this is definitely doable for him.
