Nicholas “zeal” Lim and PSG.LGD parted ways following the team’s underwhelming Berlin Major campaign
PSG.LGD had a remarkable performance in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) China 2023 Tour 2: Division I, claiming the runner-up spot in the rankings and earning a coveted spot in the highly anticipated Berlin Major 2023. Their impressive fourth-place finish in the group stages and a secured place in the upper-bracket playoffs made them one of the top contenders for the championship.

The team's performance during the crucial stages of the tournament, however, left much to be desired, leading to their unfortunate exit after a defeat against Talon Esports in the lower bracket. In response to this underwhelming outcome, PSG.LGD have decided to shake up their roster.
They have decided to let go of Nicholas “zeal” Lim, who used to play as their offlaner following their Berlin Major exit. The move may shock some fans as PSG.LGD had a strong showing in the DPC China 2023 Tour 2: Division I, where they secured 2nd place and a spot in the Berlin Major. However, the team’s lackluster performance on the main stage may have influenced the decision.
For the last DPC season and major zeal has been through a lot of wonderful memories with us. The time always comes up, now we need to say goodbye to zeal.

Zeal is the only player PSG.LGD have released recently, which means the rest of their roster remains intact as of now. As things stand, Lu “Somnus” Yao, Xu “fy” Linsen, and Yang “Chalice” Shenyi will play alongside a new offlaner under coach Zhang “LaNm” Zhicheng’s watch.
