Yuragi to Be Stand-in Carry For HellRaisers at Lima Major

Stockholm Major winner, Yuragi,  will be gunning for a second Major title at the event.

After Nikita “Daxak” Kuzmin’s exit from Hellraisers, the team needed a Carry to fill up the void left by the former Gambit and BetBoom player and borrowed Artem “Yuragi” Golubiev from OG.

The organization settled on the 21-year-old star trying out Alik “V-Tune” Vorobey, who previously played for Natus Vincere, ex-Nigma Galaxy core Igor “iLTW” Filatov and former Darkside and Virtus.Pro/Outsiders main man Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev.

Yuragi Going to Peru to Join HellRaisers

HellRaisers posted on their Twitter about being excited to join forces with Yuragi while also pointing out that they now had two Major-winning players on the squad. The team qualified for the Major but there were some issues within the team that caused them to boot Daxak. Hellraisers decided not to keep the Russian on their roster even though he had wanted to participate in the Lima Major after having contributed to their success in the Dota Pro Circuit.

Even though the organization trialed players currently unaffiliated with any team such as V-Tune, RAMZES666 and iLTW, they found that Yuragi suited their play style better. The young talent is not only fluent in the team’s primary language of communication, but also seemed to meet the requirements of the team because of his aggressiveness and adaptability.

As OG will not be participating in the Lima Major after losing their chance in the Western Europe (WEU) DPC’s infamous three-way tiebreaker, they acquiesced to loan Yuragi to Hellraisers. In fact, this will enable the rising star to stay in practice and gain invaluable experience ahead of the subsequent Spring Tour.

The following quintet will represent HellRaisers at the Lima Major is as follows:

  • Artem “Yuragi” Golubiev
  • Gleb “depressed kid” Zyryanov
  • Matvey “MieRo” `Vasyunin
  • Vladislav “Antares” Kertman
  • Alexey “Solo” Berezin

The Old One
When he's not sighing at sub-standard teammates in Dota 2 and CS2, The Old One is writing about those two games (among other things). If you see his name around the site too many times for your liking, well, the guy just never stops writing. Yes, we've tried an intervention.
