Eight years into Rocket League's lifespan, players can now get their hands on one of the most requested and most obvious Rocket League collaborations out there: Disney Pixar's Cars.
Today's update has brought Lightning McQueen, the star of the Cars franchise, to Rocket League. Lightning McQueen has the Dominus hitbox, and players can purchase him individually for 1,600 credits. Alternatively, players can buy the Lightning McQueen Mega Bundle for 2,500 credits.
The Lightning McQueen Mega Bundle contains:
- Lightning McQueen Car (Dominus Hitbox)
- Rust-eze Decal
- Dinoco Decal
- Cruisin' Decal
- Lightyear Racing Wheels
- Lightyear Dinoco Wheels
- Lightyear Whitewall Wheels
- Ka-chow Goal Explosion
- Lightning McQueen Player Banner
- “Life Is A Highway” Player Anthem by Rascal Flatts
Players can customize Lightning McQueen with select Toppers, Boosts, Trails, and Goal Explosions, but not with Antennas. As expected, you can only use the three Decals in the Lightning McQueen Mega Bundle on Lightning McQueen.
While many players generally consider this collaboration a win, reception has not been unanimously positive due to the impending update next month, which will remove player-to-player trading. PLAYER-TO-PLAYER TRADING.
Will you be ka-chowing your way to victory in Rocket League with Lightning McQueen?
