According to a report from Dexerto’s Jarek “DeKay” Lewis, Jaccob ‘yay’ Whiteaker will join the Canadian esports team Lazarus.

Dexerto is reporting that Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker will join Lazarus, a Canadian esports team, effective immediately. Lazarus first appeared on the scene in April, when they acquired the ex-Swole Patrol roster and their spot in the ESL Pro League.

Despite the addition, yay will be unable to compete with his team in the upcoming Starladder Berlin Major qualifies due to tournament rules.  Additionally, his teammate, Braxton “Swag” Pierce will also be unable to play with Lazarus stemming from his indefinite ban for match-fixing in 2014.

With the addition of yay, the Lazarus roster is as follows

  • Jaccob ‘yay’ Whiteaker
  • Braxton ‘swag’ Pierce
  • Gage ‘Infinite’ Green
  • Jordan ‘Zellsis’ Montemurro
  • Yassine ‘Subroza’ Taoufik
