In an unexpected move, Rémy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam has parted ways with TSM, giving rise to speculations about a potential reunion with his former team, Vitality.
XTQZZZ's Leaves TSM
This decision follows recent rumors surrounding Rémy's future, which began circulating after French insider Sebastien “KRL” Perez hinted at his possible return to his former team following the impending departure of Danny “zonic” Sorensen. While the deal is yet to be confirmed, negotiations are actively underway.

Rémy has a deep-rooted history with Vitality, where he initially coached the French organization's CS:GO lineup during its formative years. This era, spanning from 2019 to 2021, was marked by significant achievements, especially when the team featured iconic players like shox and ZywOo. Under his guidance, they celebrated numerous victories, including a memorable triumph at the CS:GO Major in Paris, showcasing the coach's strategic prowess.
In 2022, he embarked on a new chapter with G2 Esports, albeit without the anticipated success. Following this, he took on the challenge of assembling a fresh roster for Team SoloMid. However, this transition was far from smooth sailing, with reports suggesting that Rémy considered leaving the esport's organization due to payment disputes related to his role in building the roster. Eventually, the involved parties reached a resolution, officially confirming the roster a month later.
The latest twist in XTQZZZ's career unfolded when he expressed his desire to part ways with Team SoloMid, leading to his release from the organization. Consequently, Lambert “Lambert” Prigent, the assistant coach, has assumed the role of interim head coach as the organization now assesses its options for the head coaching position.
Rémy's departure coincides with zonic's impending exit from Vitality, set for November 1. Zonic's departure will also see sports psychologist/performance manager Lars Christian Robl joining Falcons, further reshaping the CS:GO coaching landscape.
Sebastien “KRL” Perez, the source behind the initial report of zonic's move to Falcons, has now disclosed that the organization is actively pursuing him as a potential replacement for zonic. Discussions between the two parties commenced on October 5, intensifying the intrigue surrounding Rémy's next career move.
The organization's entry into CS:GO in late 2022 generated considerable fan excitement. However, their performance in upper-tier events left much to be desired, raising questions about the team's competitive potential. Rémy, initially seen as the mastermind behind the project, distanced himself from the rebuild in July 2023.
Rémy Rumoured to Reunite with Vitality
A reunion between Rémy and his former team would mark a significant development in the CS:GO coaching landscape, particularly as the roster shuffle leading up to IEM Sydney approaches its climax. As the CS:GO community eagerly anticipates the commencement of IEM Sydney on October 15, uncertainties persist regarding how the evolving coaching and player dynamics will impact the competitive landscape in CS2.
XTQZZZ is definitely a first-choice to investigate if you're Vitality.
Knowledge of the game and preexisting fruitful work with apEX.
He would have to prove that he can work in a completely different context. He has my trust for sure though.
