The Frustrating Delay – xQc Yet to Sign NA Challengers League Team

Negotiations between Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel and Turtle Troop have broken down, delaying the signing of the Valorant squad.

xQc was reportedly in talks with the North American Challengers League team Turtle Troop to acquire the roster earlier this month. However, the deal is currently facing limbo, as sources from journalist George Geddes reported Félix’s absence from the deal.

According to George’s report, both xQc and Turtle Troop’s representatives are still in discussion, and it is uncertain whether or not we will see the content creator sign the roster.

Twitch’s one of the biggest content creators planned on purchasing his own Valorant team after a trend of popular streamers signing rosters in the Challengers League. The trend started with Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang, who signed a team previously known as Knights, changing their name to Disguised. After that, we saw Ludwig Ahgren and Charles “MoistCr1TiKaL”  Christopher White Jr. acquiring BreakThru, now known as Moist Moguls.

Turtle Troop was unable to qualify for the Mid-Season Face Off after the loss against Oxygen Esports. On the other hand, both Ludwig+MoistCr1TiKaL and Disguised Toast’s teams have advanced and are currently awaiting their matches on Lower Rounds.
