A sweep and a first semifinal slot
Strafe lists Gen.G’s three wins at 19-8, 22-6 and 16-10, and Timesaver.gg reports the same 3-0 result. LYON had taken Gen.G to a third game in the Swiss Stage, where Gen.G came back to win 2-1, so the sweep on November 4 was a different story. Invictus Gaming got to the semifinal a day earlier by beating TOP Esports 3-1, winning games 1, 3 and 4. IG also beat LYON 2-1 on October 28 on the way to a 3-1 Swiss record.
The two series still open
Dplus KIA finished the Swiss Stage at 3-0. Bilibili Gaming needed all five rounds and ended at 3-2 after a 2-0 win over Hanwha Life Esports on October 31. Timesaver.gg lists that series for Thursday, November 5 without a start time.
T1 reached the quarterfinals at 3-1 by beating Movistar KOI 2-0 on October 28. Karmine Corp came through the Play-In, finished the Swiss Stage at 3-2 and also beat Movistar KOI 2-0, on October 31. That series is on Friday, November 6. On paper the Swiss record favors T1, but a best-of-five resets it.
