CSGO: Winstrike Sign Hooch as their New Head Coach

Earlier today, Winstrike revealed their mentor Dmitrii “hooch” Bogdanov, former professional player and event analyst, has joined the team to start a new phase in his Counter-Strike career.

With the departure of Ivan “Johnta” Shevtsov in November of 2019, Winstrike had been playing without a coach for three months. Though they were without a coach for that long, during that period the CIS team found decent success. They reached the 56th position in HLTV ranking, but with the leave of Johnta, they were only around top-80.

Hooch is one of the most experienced CIS Counter-Strike players. He started his career in 2004 and has performed on a high level for more than 14 years. He was most recently playing for CIS team OwmS in late 2019 and was an analyst at Russian-language studios.

From now on, Winstrike's roster is:

  • Abay “Hobbit” Khasenov
  • Vladislav “bondik” Nechyporchuk
  • Aleksey “El1an” Gusev
  • Aidyn “Krizzen” Turlybekov
  • Viktor “Lack1” Boldyrev
  • Dmitrii “hooch” Bogdanov (coach)
