OG picked up two back-to-back series wins to grab a spot in the IEM Cologne 2023 Group Stages, and the first team they mast pass through are the reigning IEM Rio and Paris Major champions, Vitality. Dan “apEX” Madesclaire’s men are the CSGO betting favorites in this tie, but an in-form OG can catch them by surprise.

Vitality appeared to struggle in the BLAST Fall Groups 2023, needing to secure qualification for the BLAST Fall Finals 2023 through the play-ins. Despite this, it would be premature to discount the French powerhouse as favorites in Cologne. They have already won two S-tier titles this season and came close to a third, but Heroic managed to defeat them in the BLAST Spring Finals 2023 Grand Final.

OG started the qualification match on Mirage, facing a tough start. However, a well-coordinated eco push boosted their momentum, leading to a convincing 16-6 victory.
