Vitality’s Paris Major triumph led their players to incredible personal milestones. Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, widely regarded as one of the game's greatest talents, secured the Major championship, further cementing his legacy in CSGO. His exceptional skills and contributions to the victory exemplify the level of excellence that players of his caliber truly deserve. Lotan “Spinx” Giladi made history by becoming the first Israeli player to receive a Major winners medal. Danny “zonic” Sørensen and Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen etched their names in CSGO history by becoming the only individuals to secure five Major trophies. Dan “apEX” Madesclaire ended his seven-year wait to win another Major, which is the longest time a player had to wait between two CSGO Major wins. The Vitality IGL had previously won the DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca 2015 with Team EnVyUs.

What makes the achievement even more special for Vitality is that they managed to win the trophy on their own turf. An unapologetic Accor Arena crowd that made no effort to hide their favoritism for Vitality propelled apEX and company to success. As they claimed the title, tears cascaded not only down the cheeks of their leader, Dan “apEX” Madesclaire, but also in the eyes of many spectators, a testament to the overwhelming joy that permeated the Accor Arena atmosphere.
Paris, Accor arena, you were incredible! Thank you so much for all of these indescribable emotions, I have nothing left, my voice has gone, my hands were shaking after the last “BRING THE HYPE” and I’m so happy that I could once again be involved in @CounterStrike history, for… pic.twitter.com/1CJ4Xw7jwK

Despite falling short in the final, GamerLegion players can return home with their heads held high. They entered the tournament as a team ranked outside the top 30, so their Paris Major Grand Final run was rather unexpected. The Germans had a less-than-ideal start to their Paris Major campaign, having lost their opening two matches to two relatively weaker opponents. GamerLegion orchestrated an extraordinary comeback afterward, defying all expectations to reach the final. Ivan “iM” Mihai served as the team’s anchor throughout the tournament and was deservingly in contention for the MVP award.
Vitality, in stark contrast, entered the event as strong contenders and carried the weight of that expectation with utmost confidence. They became only the second team in history to win a CSGO Major without conceding a single map defeat. Vitality showcased their supremacy by sweeping through the Legends Stage and overcoming all challenges in the playoffs. The empathic Grand Final win against GamerLegion came as the icing on the cake.
