The winners of the last Major began their run in this one pretty well, beating Portuguese hopefuls SAW comfortably on Ancient. They have had a rough time lately, but this win should earn them some much-needed confidence going into what should be a relatively straightforward next match in the RMR. The Russians have everything they need at their disposal, and just need to play a decent game to get past B8.

Just about no one, not even B8 players (probably) expected to beat the likes of MOUZ in their first RMR match for the Paris Major, but that part is now done and dusted as they prepare to face a much more clinical, by-the-numbers team. B8 played superbly on Ancient to thrash MOUZ 16-9, but VP will be a whole other ball game, and they need to make sure they don’t slip up.
