Who Donated $40k To Gorgc On Twitch?
Gorgc could not believe his eyes as notifications of a series of donations amounting to $40k USD popped up on the screen during a recent live stream. The name of the profile which made the donations was “Ali.” Who is Ali? Nobody knows for sure yet, but many people who commented on the stream theorized he is a Saudi Arabian prince.
Ali first donated $10k USD, which took Gorgc by surprise immediately. Little did he know that his day was about to get much better.
He then made another $10k USD donation with a Spotify link. Minutes later, he gave away $20k USD more.
Can Ali actually be a Saudi Arabian prince? Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the 40-year-old nephew of Saudi Arabia’s founder, King Abdul Aziz, is an avid Dota fan. He is behind the booming esports scene in his country and is said to have funded DOTA: Dragon's Blood, the Dota anime that premiered on Netflix. Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s net worth is more than $2.7 billion USD, so he would not mind gifting $40k USD to his favorite streamer, would he?

Whoever Ali is in real life, he made Gorgc’s day, which was not going great at all. He was on the verge of losing after a seven-hour-long stream. As he was about to sign off in agony, he was stunned to see the generosity of one of his viewers.
“What the hell? Uh, guys? What the f**** hell? I don’t know if it has shown up yet. Did anyone see that? Uhhh.. holy sh**!” Gorgc could not contain his surprise the first time he saw the notification.
Some viewers joked that Ali might have mistakenly sent the money to Gorgc because of a credit card error.
“He misclicked? I mean if he misclicked, of course, I can refund him. If he didn’t, thanks a lot, Ali.” Gorgc had no idea what was going on and how to react.
But the surprises kept pouring in as Ali gave away $40k USD in total.
“Dude what am I even supposed to say? What am I supposed to say, chat? What am I actually supposed to say right now?” Gorgc was basically speechless at this point.
After overcoming the initial shock, Gorgc thanked Ali for his benevolence and stressed that it was a “’lot of money” to give away.
