Valorant has announced the schedules for 2023 Masters Tokyo, with two weeks of exciting matches

Valorant is holding its first international LAN in Asia with this year’s only Masters event. Twelve teams from VCT Americas, EMEA and Pacific, along with the Chinese FGC tournament, are taking part in this competition in Tokyo’s TIPSTAR DOME and Makuhari Messe.

Among the 12 teams qualified for Masters Tokyo, 4 of them with high seeds are already in the Playoffs stage, and the rest 8 will have to fight through the Group Stage.

VCT 2023 Masters Tokyo – Format

The Group Stage of Masters Tokyo will follow a double-elimination GSL format where teams with 2-0 and 2-1 records will proceed to the Playoffs. Two groups have four teams each, and the top 2 rosters from every group will have a spot in the Playoffs. All matches of the Group Stage will be Best of 3s.

Four qualified teams from the Group Stage will meet the high-seed teams waiting in the Playoffs to fight in a double-elimination bracket. Only the Lower and Grand Final encounters of this stage will be Best of 5s, and the rest of the games will be Bo3s.

VCT 2023 Masters Tokyo – Schedule

Masters Tokyo Group Stage will be spread throughout the first four days of the event from June 10 to June 13 or 14, depending on where you live. The Playoffs will take the big chunk of the event from June 15 to 24. 

Most matches will take place late at night for North Americans as the first games start at 20:00 PT and 23:00 ET every day.
