Everything Unvaulted and Vaulted in Fortnite C4 Season 2
This is everything that's been unvaulted and vaulted in Fortnite C4 Season 2, all the changes to the loot pool.
There have been loads of new changes in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season. 2. There are POIs, grind rails, new Battle Pass, but it’s the loot pool that has the biggest impact on every game! While new items are often splashed on the loading page, items returning and vaulted in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 are a little harder to figure out. Not everything vaulted in Fortnite C4 Season 2 is immediately clear.
If you don’t want to spend your first few games searching quests for a weapon that just isn’t there anymore, it pays to know what’s stuck around. There are some surprising unvaultings that you’ll only find in some strange places. We’ll cover everything unvaulted and vaulted in Fortnite C4 Season 2. This is everything that’s been removed or changed in the latest season of the game.
Everything Vaulted in Chapter 4 Season 4
The new weapons and returning ones are fun, but every season a few weapons leave the loot pool too. These are the guns that Epic has removed with the new update.
- Assault Rifle (Scar)
- Burst Assault Rifle
- Machine SMG
- Thunder Shotgun
- Heavy Shotgun
- Ex-Caliber Rifle
- Primal Flame Bow
- Primal Stink Bow
- Shockwave Hammer
- Falcon Scout
Some OF these changes are obvious compared to others. The Shockwave hammer and similar items seemed so tied to the Oathbound part of Chapter 4 Season 1 it would be more surprising if they stayed! Others might be more frustrating for players like the shotguns and original DMR. However, these largely have new versions added to replace them.
Epic has cut down on the ARs and the Shotguns. Items vaulted in Fortnite C4 Season 2 are pretty much all but one of each in these basic categories. For the most part, we’ve got new weapons which will make the loss less impactful. Replacement ARs and Shotguns have been added, so now there’s a simple choice between two. We’ll likely see some of these come back later in the season once fans have got to grips with the new ones.
Vaulted Fortnite C4 season 2 items won’t stay gone forever. Keep an eye out for Fortnite news to see if any of these make a return over the next few patches.
Everything Unvaulted in Fortnite Chapter 4
Alongside removing some items from the game, Epic has brought some back too! If you’re looking for your favourite weapons making a comeback, this is everything that’s been put back in.
- Maven Auto Shotgun (Returning)
- Red-Eye AR (Returning)
- Twin Mag SMG (Returning)
- Tactical Pistol (Returning)
- Heisted Breacher Shotgun (Unvaulted)
- Dragon’s Breath Sniper (Unvaulted)
- Heisted Explosive Assault Rifle (Unvaulted)
- Heisted Accelerant Shotgun (Unvaulted)
- Heisted Run ‘N’ Gun SMG (Unvaulted)
- Heisted Blink Mag SMG (Unvaulted)
- Cobra DMR (Unvaulted)
- Heavy Sniper Rifle (Unvaulted)
- Combat Shotgun (Unvaulted)
These new additions include some odd choices. With all of the exotics coming back from the Most Wanted update it’s pretty crowded in holo-boxes right now. These exotics are pretty hard to find though, so the general lootpool isn’t quite as rammed. The other weapons that are sticking around are pretty sensible, with one weapon in each category along with new additions like the Sniper and Cobra. It looks like a fun balance right now.
Outside of these, everything else is staying in the vault! That’s until Epic decides to throw some back in though. We’ll expect patches in the coming weeks that tinker with this balance. For now, these are the weapons you have to choose from. With just the more basic picks available in competitive, there’s a whole new balance of power to watch for in Fortnite esports games. You won’t find the returning exotics or crazier guns in there, but the base weapons like the new pool should still make for some fun tournaments.
