Valorant System Requirements

Here is a look at the Valorant system requirements.

With Riot Games’ new shooter just months away, it’s time to check out those PC system requirements. Thankfully it’s going to be great news for the vast majority of people as Valorant looks set to run in some form on nearly any system.

Valorant is going for a more stylish look, something akin to Fortnite or Overwatch, and as a result, the game’s minimum specs are really lenient.

Below are the specific requirements from Riot Games for 30, 60 and 144FPS alongside a few bare minimum requirements to run the game.

PC Hardware Recommendations

Minimum Requirements:

Nothing crazy here, any modern windows system, a reasonable amount of Ram and a modern GPU.

  • Windows 7/8/10 64 bit
  • 4GB RAM
  • 1GB VRAM

Minimum Specs – 30 FPS:

Coming in at the most basic FPS, Riot Games is looking to target the kind of hardware you’d expect in an old laptop. Valorant is supposed to work on systems released in the last decade and with these 30 FPS targets, we can see why. Obviously, for a fast-paced shooter, 30 FPS really is the bare minimum and something we would not recommend. But if it’s this or not playing the game, Valorant is going to run on almost anything.

  • CPU: Intel i3-370M
  • GPU: Intel HD 3000

Recommended Spec – 60 FPS:

As we move into the 60 FPS target, the game should start to feel like what you’re used to. 60 FPS has been the standard for console shooters this generation. While we’re quickly moving up the FPS charts as we head into the next generation of hardware, these recommended specs should be fairly easy to hit.

  • CPU: Intel i3-4150
  • GPU: Geforce GT 730

High-end Specs – 144+ FPS:

This is the FPS where the professional players and the most dedicated of Valorant players are going to be at. At 144 we hit the limit of what most consumer monitors are currently able to handle, and you’re going to be experiencing the best of what Valorant has to offer. For those specs, however, you’re not looking at breaking the bank. The recommended hardware isn’t going to be a huge stretch and will be found in most “gaming” PCs of the last few years and anything post-Valorant’s launch.

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz
  • GPU: GTX 1050 Ti

Valorant is due to launch this summer. You can check out the full details on the game here.
