Top 6 Highest Earning CSGO Players As of 2023

Here are the top 6 highest-earning CSGO players as of 2023.

People who like eSports know that CSGO is one of the biggest names in it, and it’s the game that millions of fans follow. Even though the prize pools of most CSGO tournaments aren’t as big as those in Dota 2, some of the best players in the world have made millions of dollars.

According to the latest rumors, Counter-Strike 2 is just around the corner, so we can’t wait to see the top CSGO players in action. Speaking of the devil, we’re about to take a look at the top 6 highest-earning CSGO players in the world so far. The list you’re about to see could change once CS2 becomes available, but until then, here’s what to keep in mind.

Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen

dupreeh

According to the official stats, when it comes down to CSGO earnings all time, the first spot on the list goes to dupreeh. The latter is currently a part of Team Vitality and has won around $2.18M so far, which is really impressive.

Every old-school CSGO player is well aware of dupreeh because he’s always been one of the world’s best. The 30-year-old player started his career in 2012 when he was a parto of 3DMAX, but he played for many top-tier teams over the years. The list includes the likes of Team Dignitas, SoloMid, and Astralis. It’s safe to say that Astralis is the team that made him the most successful because he was there for more than 5 years.

Sadly, dupreeh is not active anymore because he’s on Team Vitality’s inactive roster. However, considering he is among the best CSGO players ever, we wouldn’t be surprised if he decides to come back.

Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth

Number one on our CSGO earnings list is another legendary name from Denmark. Xyp9x is a nickname you’ve heard of multiple times over the years and for a good reason. The career of the legendary rifler started in 2011 when he played Counter-Strike 1.6. Of course, he quickly transitioned to CSGO, where he was also a part of many top-tier teams. With that said, similar to dupreeh, Xyp9x’s star shined during his time with Astralis, when the team won pretty much all big competitions.

Between late 2016 and 2019, Astralis was the best CSGO team in the world, so don’t be surprised when you notice that Xyp9x has won a total of $2M

Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz

gla1ve Happy To Reunite With dev1ce

When it comes down to world-famous CSGO players that have made millions of dollars, it’s hard not to include dev1ce. If we put s1mple aside, this is probably the most well-known CSGO player in the world. The legendary AWPer has made a name for himself over the years, so it’s no surprise his CSGO total earnings are around $1.97M.

Like the previous 3 players mentioned earlier, dev1ce is from Denmark. Moreover, he was also a part of Astralis’s legendary roster that won countless tournaments. The thing that sets him apart from the rest is that he is still a part of the active roster. A lot of people were surprised to see him in action because he was away for almost one year.

In addition to Astralis, dev1ce has been a parto of Team Dignitas, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team SoloMid, and more. He also has professional CS 1.6 experience in 2011 when he became a part of Copenhagen Wolves.

Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander

While we are on the topic of the CSGO highest earnings players and Astraliss, we need to mention another big name – gla1ve. The 28-year-old from Denmark has been a part of the Counter-Strike scene since 2010, which means he played for several CS 1.6 teams. Once CSGO became available, gla1ce started playing right away and had the chance to help a lot of big teams. Before joining Astralis, the Danish superstar played for the likes of ESC Gaming, n!faculty, and much more.

After spending several years with the club, gla1ve was moved to the inactive roster. Over the course of his career, the player has won a total of $1.86M, which is a lot of money.

Emil “Magisk” Reif

The next name on the CSGO total earnings is also from Denmark, and he was also a part of Astralis. However, unlike some of the rest that spend there more than 5 years, Magisk only played for 3 years.

The 25-year-old rifler is currently a part of Team Vitality, where he’s been playing since 2022. It probably does not come as a surprise that Magisk is often regarded as one of the best in the world. In addition to the two teams we’ve mentioned, the player has been a part of the likes of SK Gaming, OpTic Gaming, and more.

Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyljev

s1mple and ZywOo Set To Play Together In Showmatch

The last name that we want to talk about when discussing the CSGO earning ranking is none other than s1mple. This is hands down the most popular player in the game and the person promoting CSGO for years. S1mple is a living legend and won pretty much everything in existence. Together with dev1ce, he has won countless individual awards for the best players, so it’s no surprise that a lot of players are looking up to him.

The 25-year-old player from Ukraine has been active since 2013. He is known as “The Undertaker” and is regarded as the best AWPer in the world. Over his career, s1mple’s CSGO total earnings come up to around $1.72M, which is really impressive.

Of course, people know s1mple for being a part of Natus Vincere because he’s been there since 2016 and continues to play for the club. Prior to joining Na’Vi, s1mple played for Team Liquid, HellRaisers, and other popular teams.
