Team Vitality vs  ENCE Preview: ESL Pro League Season 17 Playoffs

Both Vitality and ENCE have a battery of hard-hitting players, but which ESL Pro League Season 17 Quarter Finalists will make it to the next round?

A day ago, it would have seemed to anyone that ENCE are the underdogs against Team Vitality. However, after their comprehensive win against G2 Esports yesterday, the Finnish team has proven that they’re not here by chance, and will have gotten a massive morale boost from the same triumph. Vitality meanwhile will have a sizable battle on their hands — their first in a while — and reconfiguring to align their game plans with a returning star won’t be easy. If CSGO betting is your jam, or if you just really love the game, you’re going to want to read this preview.

Team Vitality

One can’t help but feel a bit bad for the French side as they’re undoubtedly going through a terrible “What if?” moment. There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that dupreeh is a fantastic player, but the fact remains that Vitality were looking much more dangerous with Audric “JACKZ” Jug on board. With the Dane back, the team will probably have to abandon many of the strats that worked so well for them during the Group Stage, not to mention the fact that JACKZ was in superb form as far as shooting is concerned.

Player To Watch

When a player is rated so very highly above everyone else on the team, one can’t help but put him on a pedestal, and that’s precisely what we’ll do with ZywOo.

ENCE

ENCE may not have had the most impressive Group Stage, but any doubters have since been silenced following their incredible, unlikely hammering of G2. On the plus side, ENCE have a lot of confidence going into their next match. On the other hand, no team will underestimate them at least for the remainder of this tournament. It will not be an easy way forward for them by any means, but it would take a fool to think that the Fins aren’t capable of taking their success and form all the way.

Since joining the team, NertZ has been a revelation. The young rifler has been fragging left and right, and is a fine player to watch.

ESL Pro League Season 17 Playoffs: Team Vitality vs  ENCE Predictions

We’re going to go down on a limb once again and state that ENCE will punch above their weight again to get another win, this time 2-1.

Maps

Considering Vitality’s aversion to Ancient, ENCE will probably have to go with Nuke, while the French side themselves pick Overpass. As for the final map, we’ll probably see Vertigo.

Score

Map 1: ENCE to win in Overtime.

Map 2: Vitality to win with ENCE <12.

Map 3: ENCE to win in Overtime.

Top Fragger

Despite the fact that we predicted ENCE to win, we’ll go with ZywOo as the server topper.
