Team Ancient and Dino Esports have been kicked out of the DPC 2023 SEA Summer Tour Open Qualifiers for violating tournament rules and fair play regulations 


In an unexpected development, the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Southeast Asia (SEA) 2023 Summer Tour Open Qualifiers witnessed the disqualification of Team Ancient and Dino Esports. Epulze, the organizer of the competition, disclosed on Twitter that the teams were disqualified because of account sharing. This startling revelation has left the Dota 2 community in disbelief, prompting discussions on the importance of maintaining fair play standards and reinforcing the necessity for rigorous measures to uphold the integrity of competitive esports.

Epulze kept further details under wraps but took swift action by imposing lifetime and indefinite bans on multiple players implicated in the misconduct. These individuals are now prohibited from competing in any future Epulze tournaments. Furthermore, the remaining teammates from the disqualified teams face provisional bans until a more extensive investigation determines their level of complicity.
