Phasmophobia Crimson Eye 2026: Dates, Locations, Rewards and Drops

Phasmophobia’s Crimson Eye event runs from October 8 to November 1, 2026, and playing its eight featured locations can unlock a seasonal tee, the Beholder ID Card and Badge set, a Blood Moon charm and an upgradeable trophy. Developer Kinetic Games announced the dates on Steam on October 1.

What Crimson Eye is

Crimson Eye is Kinetic Games’ yearly event built around the Blood Moon, and the 2026 edition spreads across several maps instead of a single one. Playing on the featured locations earns event points, those points unlock rewards, and Blood Moon weather makes the ghosts you are hunting harder to handle.

Crimson Eye 2026 dates at a glance

The Twitch Drop asked viewers to watch two hours of Phasmophobia streams to earn the Crimson Eye tee. Double XP and Rewards doubled the rewards from completed investigations for a week. Neither can be claimed now, so the live pieces are the event rewards and the charity week.

Which maps count for Crimson Eye points

Any investigation on one of the maps below counts toward the Community and Personal rewards. Point Hope counts in its Standard version only: Point Hope Restricted is not part of the event.

Kinetic Games singled out Nell’s Diner and the reworked 6 Tanglewood Drive and 13 Willow Street as the places that returning players will see dressed in red for the first time.

Cursed possessions are what most players look up mid-run. Our small maps cursed objects guide covers Tanglewood, Edgefield, Grafton, Willow Street, Bleasdale and Camp Woodwind, and the medium and large maps guide covers the bigger maps.

How the rewards work

Playing on the featured locations earns event points, and those points unlock the Community and Personal rewards. Kinetic Games lists four things to chase: a seasonal event tee, the Beholder ID Card and Badge set, the Blood Moon charm and an upgradeable trophy. If you unlocked the trophy in an earlier year, you keep earning points and upgrades on that same trophy instead of getting a new one.

Newer players hunt Blood Moon totems, finish investigations and complete optional objectives to earn points, all under Blood Moon weather, which Kinetic describes as raising the challenge you face from ghosts. The announcements do not give the point threshold for each reward, so check the in-game event screen for the exact numbers.

Ghost Hunts 4 Hearts: the charity week

Ghost Hunts 4 Hearts returns for the week of October 26 to November 2 with American Heart Association Liive. Kinetic Games says the community raised over $100,000 for the association last year and wants to go bigger this time. Participating fundraising streamers can hand out the event-exclusive Advocate ID Card and Badge through a Twitch Drop during the week, and the studio says an extra reward unlocks if a secret fundraising goal is reached. The announcements do not say what that reward is or what the total stands at.

What to do before November 1

The plan for the last days is short. Pick one of the featured locations, because only those maps earn event points. Check the in-game event screen to see how close you are to the next reward.
