VALORANT Patch 13.09 Notes: Hush Arrives, Warden Buffed, Clove Nerfed

Riot Games released VALORANT Patch 13.09 on October 27, 2026, and Hush is the headline. The agent from Guangdong province uses telekinesis, and the same patch cuts Clove’s Pick-me-up speed bonus from 15% to 10%, makes the Warden easier to control and rewrites every ability tooltip in the game.

Hush’s abilities

Ability What it does
Telekinesis (passive) Picks up weapons, the Spike on attack and uses switches from an increased range
Displacement Thrown and redirectable toward the crosshair. Pulls players to its center and concusses anyone who hits a surface or another player. Resets every two kills
Flashbulb Thrown and redirectable toward the crosshair. Flashes every player looking at it
Flow Instantly creates an anchor, then propels Hush toward it after a delay. Briefly levitates her if she is airborne
Suspension Sent forward and steered with the crosshair. Detonates to levitate every player caught in it

The redirect mechanic is the part to learn first. Utility that can change direction after it leaves her hand makes the usual pre-aimed angles less safe, and defenders will need time to read where a Flashbulb is going to land. Our Hush guide covers how she plays in more detail.

Agent changes

Clove takes the only real nerf. Pick-me-up drops from a 15% to a 10% movement speed bonus, as Riot standardizes Clove with similar abilities. Killing Clove after Not Dead Yet now also gives the killer an ultimate point and a signature refresh point.

Riot has also made Haste and Snapshot official buff terms. Haste is the movement speed buff, separate from Combat Stim, and it now shows up on Brimstone’s Stim Beacon, Clove’s Pick-me-up, Miks’ Harmonize and Neon’s High Gear and Overdrive. Waylay’s Convergent Paths buff is renamed Haste because the effects are identical. Snapshot is the name for the silhouette reveal from Cypher’s Neural Theft and Spycam.

Warden buffs

Riot wants the Warden, priced at 2,900 credits, to feel more controllable.

Change Before After
Pitch recoil, first few bullets Baseline Smoothed out
Follow-up shot spread Baseline Reduced
2nd bullet error 0.25 0.2
3rd bullet error 0.6 0.5

Competitive and store updates

Hush is the first agent added since Performance Score launched, and Riot warns that scores on her may be uneven for a few days. Your Act Best Match now weighs more in Map Rating, and the First Blood accolade is harder to earn, without changing past totals. Players in Korea can now buy Radianite Points in game.

Bug fixes worth knowing

Tejo’s Special Delivery could carry into the next round and hit players after the transition. Sova’s Hunter’s Fury could hit players standing behind him. Chamber and Omen could flash on the enemy minimap right after teleporting, and some Cypher, Vyse, Viper and Killjoy utility was visible through the Buy Phase barriers. All four issues are fixed.

On the esports side, the Game Changers Championship runs until November 1 in São Paulo, and results are on our Game Changers Championship 2026 tracker.
