Two teams that stood at 1-2 after Swiss Round 3 will play for the PGL Masters Bucharest title. Nemiga, who entered through the Europe Closed Qualifier, meet FURIA in a best-of-five grand final on Saturday, October 31, at 12:00 CET (7:00 a.m. ET), according to HLTV. The winner collects $225,000 in player prize money plus an equal club share from a $1,250,000 pool.
How the semifinals went
Nemiga beat Vitality 2-0, winning Cache 13-8 and Dust2 13-11. That made it four straight 2-0 series and eight maps in a row for Nemiga, after DENDELE, The MongolZ and FUT. FURIA needed three maps against MOUZ: they took Dust2 13-6, dropped Mirage 9-13 and closed Cache 13-9.
| Winner | Score | Loser | Maps (winner first) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nemiga | 2-0 | Vitality | Cache 13-8, Dust2 13-11 |
| FURIA | 2-1 | MOUZ | Dust2 13-6, Cache 13-9, MOUZ won Mirage 13-9 |
Two routes from 1-2
Both finalists lost in Round 2 and Round 3, then won every series after that. Both are 5-2 in series at the event, and they sit in opposite halves of the bracket, so they have not met in Bucharest yet. The map records are close: Nemiga are 10-4 and FURIA are 11-5, per HLTV match pages.

What the map data says before the veto
The veto order for the grand final had not been published when this was written, so the numbers below describe the event so far and rest on small samples. Nemiga have not lost on Dust2 (4-0), Ancient (2-0), Cache (2-0) or Nuke (2-0). All four of their map losses came on Anubis and Mirage, twice each. FURIA are 3-0 on Inferno and 2-0 on Cache, but 1-2 on Mirage, where they lost to Spirit and MOUZ.
Dust2 is the one map both teams have played repeatedly: Nemiga won all four of theirs, including 19-15 against The MongolZ in Round 5, while FURIA are 2-1 there after a 5-13 loss to Natus Vincere in Round 2. In a best-of-five, a team that cannot dodge Mirage or Anubis may have to win a map it has struggled on, which is where the Swiss records matter.
