TCG Card Shop Simulator Halloween Update 1.03: Ghost Cards and OG Bulk Box

The Ghostly Halloween Update for TCG Card Shop Simulator adds six new Ghost cards, a Halloween playmat and a new bulk box tier, and it replaces the separate Tetramon and Destiny bulk boxes with one generic Bulk Box. The developer announced it on Steam on October 28, 2026.

Updated October 29, 2026, from the developer’s Steam announcement of October 28 (update 1.03, with the 1.04 and 1.05 fix builds listed in the same post).

What the Halloween update adds

Addition Detail
Ghost cards Six new Ghost cards, bringing the total to 24 rare Ghost cards to collect
Ascension Card Box New card box in game
Playmat (Halloween) New Halloween playmat
Halloween poster New poster decoration with artwork by Bad Moon Art Studio
OG Bulk Box (Omega Grade) New bulk box with a base price of 4,000, created when your total bulk card value passes $5,000

The announcement invites players to find all the Ghost cards before Halloween night. It does not say whether the cards leave the game afterward, so treat October 31 as a suggested target, not a confirmed deadline.

Bulk boxes: what changed

Bulk boxes hold the low-value cards you collect in volume. Before 1.03, Tetramon and Destiny each had their own box. Now one generic Bulk Box covers every expansion, current and future, and a new top tier sits above it.

Box After update 1.03
Tetramon Bulk Box Stays in game, but no longer appears in the price app and cannot be created
Destiny Bulk Box Same treatment as the Tetramon box
Generic Bulk Box Replaces both and is built to support all current and future card expansions
OG Bulk Box (Omega Grade) New tier, base price 4,000, created when total bulk card value exceeds $5,000

Visual and performance changes

The default branch now uses a new rendering method with the GPU issue fixed and optimizations added, and materials and lighting have been adjusted to look as close as possible to the classic look. The changelist also lists fixes for excessive GPU usage, shadow flicker, quality settings that did not apply properly and a bug that could leave you stuck and unable to play cards in a TCG match. The workbench price slider limit rises to $100.

Fix builds 1.04 and 1.05

Build Fixes listed
1.04 Wall Display Case texture artifacts; Evo statue shininess; bulk box material reset on load; stretched price tag text; furniture turning black under some lighting
1.05 Warehouse shelf box material and furniture and item colors updated; card game stuck after viewing the discard pile during an effect; customer glasses vanishing when you look down; noisy wall texture; customer play card material too bright

The post lists these builds without release dates, so check your installed build number if a bug persists.
