PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 – Top 3 Predictions

Following our PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 review, it’s time for the Top 3 predictions. This is one of those CS2 tournaments we expect to see the unexpected, especially after what happened at IEM Katowice 2024. Nevertheless, some teams are in a better position than others, so here’s what we expect to happen.

G2 Esports

The first big favorite to win the PGL Major in Copenhagen is G2 Esports. People who have been following the top-tier CS2 squad are probably not surprised to find its name here, especially after the last CS2 event. G2 Esports was one of the most dominant forces at IEM Katowice 2024 and qualified for the Playoffs. Sadly, the team was unable to defeat FaZe Clan and reach the Grand Final.

FaZe Clan

Speaking of one of the best CS2 teams of 2023, the next name on our list of favorites is FaZe Clan. 2024 has been pretty good for the legendary squad, and the last couple of results prove it yet again. The team reached the Grand Final of IEM Katowice 2024 a few weeks ago, and even though it tried, the squad was unable to win.

As we all know, every CS2 tournament is different, which means that FaZe will not be affected by the loss in the Grand Final. In fact, it might motivate the team even more.

Team Spirit

We definitely did not expect Team Spirit to perform so well in 2024, but the squad is one of the best in the world right now. Going back to IEM Katowice 2024, Team Spirit won Group A and received a slot for the Playoffs semifinals. The squad defeated Team Falcons, followed by FaZe Clan, and it won the tournament. What’s even more impressive is that Team Spirit did not lose a single map in either match.

While it is true that winning two tournaments in a row isn’t easy, Team Spirit has a good chance of lifting the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 trophy. It will be interesting to see what’s going to happen.
