paiN vs FaZe Preview and Predictions: BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Challengers Stage

paiN vs FaZe will see the victors of the first two Paris Major 2023 Challengers Stage matches go head-to-head with each other

After returning to winning ways with a narrow victory against Monte, FaZe will aim to stay on winning track by coming out on top of paiN. The Brazilians had put Fluxo to the sword in their first match. Rodrigo “biguzera” Bittencourt’s men were ruthless against their fellow countrymen as they raced to a 16-2 win, but those who bet on CSGO might tend to side with FaZe for this tie as they had won the only previous battle between the two sides. That said, paiN’s excellent form in 2023 should not be disregarded as well.

paiN

Fluxo made a risky move as they had the chance to remove Mirage, the map on which paiN had ran riot against them in the RMRs, but they chose to get rid of Vertigo instead. paiN once again exhibited their strength on Mirage as they mercilessly battered their opponents to seal a 16-2 win.

FaZe

Monte had shown a knack for upsets in the European RMRs and they nearly pulled one off again in their Paris Major 2023 opener, but FaZe dug deep and snatched away a 16-14 victory. A 1vs2 clutch from Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken in round 30 made sure that FaZe will take home the bragging rights.

When he's not sighing at sub-standard teammates in Dota 2 and CS2, The Old One is writing about those two games (among other things). If you see his name around the site too many times for your liking, well, the guy just never stops writing. Yes, we've tried an intervention.
