Main support player Nolan “Paintbrush” Edwards changes team — leaving the Los Angeles Gladiators to join the Dallas Fuel.
Nolan “Paintbrush” Edwards, main support for Los Angeles Gladiators since late 2019, is now joining the Dallas Fuel.
Let’s paint the world a better place.
Please welcome @paintbrush to the Fuel fam! He will be joining us from @LAGladiators for the #OWL2020 season. #BurnBlue⁰⁰

Edwards’ departure from Los Angeles Gladiators leaves the team with only two support players; Jonas “Shaz” Suovaara and Benjamin “BigG00se” Isohanni. With no other player to replace them, the Los Angeles Gladiators are taking a big risk in case of any unavailability of its support players.
On the opposite, Dallas Fuel, Edwards’ new team, is already packed with support players. Edwards is the fifth healer of the team; alongside team captain Jonathan “HarryHook” Tejedor Rua, Benjamin “uNKOE” Chevasson, Won-sik “Closer” Jung and William “Crimzo” Hernandez. As 5 players are competing for only 2 support slots in the team, 3 of them will stay on the bench unless required. This gives little to no room for Edwards, who is a late addition to the team.
Edwards is a decent main support player, with shot-calling abilities. He didn’t get the opportunity to play a lot in the Overwatch League, joining the Los Angeles Gladiators in November 2019. He only played a single match but performed well during the off-season. Joining Dallas Fuel could be the opportunity to grind some experience alongside more seasoned players until his time comes to shine on the main stage.
