OGA Dota Pit Season 2 To Include North And South America

Even though the Chinese competition isn't over yet, we already have information about the next two regions.

The OGA Dota Pit Season 2 is an online tournament that’s worth the watch, especially thanks to the teams playing in it. If you remember, the first season of this event featured a lot of really strong teams. However, we weren’t able to see performances from any North or South American teams, which was a huge drawback.

However, this won't be the case for season 2.

New regions

Despite the fact that the Chinese competition isn't over yet, Season 2 of the OGA Dota Pit Season 2 will be featuring two new divisions — North and South America. This means that this online event will finally include all six of the leading Dota 2 regions. Needless to say, this is going to be a pretty epic event that will definitely be worth checking out.

Right now, we know that we will see a total of eight teams. Four of them will be from North America, whereas the other four will come from South America. They will be playing for a prize pool of $25K USD in a double-elimination bracket. Every single series there will be best-of-three until the Grand Final, which will be played in a classic best-of-five format.

Here are the NA and SA teams taking part in Season 2;

  • Evil Geniuses
  • business associates
  • Quincy Crew
  • CR4ZY
  • Thunder Predator
  • beastcoast
  • Midas Club
  • Infamous

We have no information about the event in Europe or CIS yet. However, no doubt we'll be seeing some of the top teams in the world once again.
