Just when we thought that the surprises for the day are over, OG announced a new roster.
In an earlier tweet, OG hinted that Johan “N0tail” Sundstein would be taking over the coaching role. Naturally, we expected him to become a coach of OG, the two-times TI winning roster. However, that’s not going to be the case.
New OG team
Instead of coaching the “main team,” N0tail will help OG’s newly-formed second roster called OG Seed. An interesting fact is that this is the same team that was registered yesterday for the upcoming DPC qualifiers under the name “4 Euros 1 Murica.”
The main idea behind OG’s decision is to help the players achieve their dream. According to Sebastien “Ceb” Debs, he and his teammates wanted to create a team of players that they strongly believe in.
OG Seed roster from 1 to 5:
Rasmus “Chessie” Blomdin
Omar “Madara” Dabachach
Andreas “Xibbe” Ragnemalm
Zakari ”ZFreek” Freedman
Petu “Peksu” Vaatainen
Apart from the new team, N0tail also confirmed that OG won’t attend the next Major. This means that we won't be able to see the two-times TI winning roster until 2020. Until then, OG will give their “energy and wisdom” to OG Seed.
With just a couple of days left until the qualifiers, we can’t wait to see the new team in action. Who knows, OG Seed might be the next big thing.
