OG Enters the CS:GO Scene, Signs International All-Star Team

Just today, OG announced their introduction into CS:GO and released their roster. This move has been highly awaited for by fans for a long time and it has finally happened. There is only one change from what they were going to create initially, as Mateusz “mantuu” Wilczewski joins the European team instead of Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen.

The first rumors about OG’s CS:GO squad aired about 2 months ago. At this point, the team was planning to acquire a couple of players that were benched by their teams. Among them were Finnish rising star Jamppi and Danish CS:GO-machine Valdemar “valde” Bjørn Vangså.

As it ended up, OG decided to replace Jammpi with mantuu. It's likely the organization didn't want to take a risk with signing a player with VAC-ban on his previous account. Despite that happening way back in 2013, Jamppi simply isn't reliable enough in OG's eyes.

In addition. OG includes a few possible in-game leaders. For now though, Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen will lead the team.

With that said, OG's roster is as follows:

  • Valdemar “valde” Bjørn Vangså
  • Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen
  • Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt
  • Issa “ISSAA” Murad
  • Mateusz “mantuu” Wilczewski
