Monte Signs br0 and Completes Roster for Fall Season

Monte solidified their lineup by signing Alexander “br0” Bro from Astralis Talent, following their success at the Paris Major

Monte has announced the addition of Alexander “br0” Bro to their starting roster, finalizing their lineup for the upcoming fall season. The Danish rifler joins the Ukrainian organization as a replacement for Mohammad “BOROS” Malhas, who recently made a move to Falcons during the player break.

Formerly part of Astralis Talent, br0 spent nearly nine months with the team and displayed consistent performance, maintaining a solid 1.09 rating over 234 maps. Notably, his LAN performance stood out with an impressive 1.15 rating, contributing to his team's victories at the NPF Invitational and the POWER Ligaen Season 23 Finals in June.

With this signing, br0 aims to replicate Monte's strong showings from the spring season. The Ukrainian-majority team reached a peak of No. 10 on the world ranking following their impressive campaign at the Paris Major in May.

Led by Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev, the team secured a commendable 3-2 record in the Challengers Stage, earning a spot at the Accor Arena. Noteworthy wins over FURIA, fnatic, and Natus Vincere demonstrated their potential before being halted by GamerLegion in the quarter-finals.

br0 is set to make his debut in Monte colors at the IEM Cologne Play-in scheduled for July 26-28. The European ensemble earned their spot at the Big Event prelude due to their placement on the ESL world ranking.

br0 says farewell to Astralis

Astralis Talent recognizes br0's significant development during his time with them, starting as a stand-in and swiftly becoming an integral part of the team through hard work, talent, and a strong desire to evolve further. The transfer agreement ensures that br0 will have the opportunity to play alongside an organization that achieved quarter-final success at this year's Major.

Astralis expresses gratitude for br0's contributions during his time with the team and extends their best wishes for his future endeavors.

By signing br0 and securing a transfer agreement with Astralis Talent, Monte demonstrates their commitment to building a competitive roster and strives for success in the upcoming season. The addition of br0 brings excitement and anticipation for the team's prospects in the highly competitive Valorant scene.
