MAJ3R Leaves ex-Space Soliders Lineup

Engin “MAJ3R” Küpeli has announced that he is leaving the ex-Space Soldiers lineup this morning through a post on Twitter.

28-year-old in-game leader Engin “MAJ3R” Küpeli announced that he was leaving the ex-Space Soldiers roster this morning through a Twitlonger. The long time IGL expressed regret that his time with his teammates was ending:

This journey [h]as come to the end for me and leaving this boat as a captain is killing me inside. This [is the] hardest decision… I did my best for you brothers and I know you did it too. We fought together hand to hand against the world and also against the life. I’m a fighter and I’ll come back stronger. I’ll do everything to be successful again. Take care guys life is precious enjoy it. [Ed. Note: Maj3r’s Twitlonger has been lightly edited for grammar and clarity.]

Th ex-Space Soldiers roster has seen a slow exodus of late, with star rifler Ismailcan “Xantares” Dörtkardeş leaving for the German roster BIG in mid-December. As of now, only Buğra “Calyx” Arkın and Ahmet “paz” Karahoca remain from the original roster. Ex-Space Soldiers is still searching for an organization.

Ex-Space Soldiers had hoped to make a push in the European Minor, yet fell well short of their goal, eventually leaving the Minor in last place. The ex-Space Soldiers still own an EPL spot in Season 9, but without MAJ3R at the helm of the Turkish team, their hopes of making an impact in the online league are slim. Prior to his departure, MAJ3R managed to take his team home first place at DreamHack Open Austin 2018.

As of now, the ex-Space Soliders lineup is as follows:
