MOUZ have promoted Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo to the club’s senior team

MOUZ have officially announced the promotion of Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo from MOUZ NXT to the main squad, recognizing his success during his time with the development team. Taking his first steps in a professional team with the German organization, the 16-year-old player, who happens to be the younger brother of Jere “sergej” Salo, a top 20 player in 2019, is set to make his mark in the highest level of competitive CSGO.

March 2022 marked a turning point for Jimpphat as he transitioned from the Finnish scene to the global stage, becoming a member of MOUZ NXT. Displaying remarkable consistency, he achieved an impressive 1.18 rating across nearly 300 maps and emerged as the key player in MOUZ NXT's victory in the CCT 5 North Europe 5 event.

Jimpphat departs from NXT with a notable WePlay Academy League championship under his belt, solidifying his place among the ranks of numerous NXT graduates who have successfully transitioned to the first team.

Jimpphat continues the tradition established by his teammates Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás, Dorian “xertioN” Berman, and Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek, all whom made the transition from MOUZ NXT to the senior team. The latter, however, had joined GamerLegion before coming back to the German side. Jon “JDC” de Castro, whom Jimphat is replacing, is also a MOUZ NXT graduate.

As the IEM Cologne Play-in draws nearer, set to kick off on July 26, MOUZ are prepared and ready to face the competition head-on. By keeping their three-man core intact, the organization secures their coveted spot at the event, dismissing earlier rumors that Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás might be departing from the team.
