“Jame is an exceptional player. There are very few captains with his understanding of the game, tactical thinking and level of individual skill in the professional scene,” Virtus.pro's CEO, Nikolai Petrossian, explained why the organization persuaded the AWPer to commit his long-term future to the club.
“He is the backbone of our roster, so renewing his contract was one of the most important tasks related to the CS:GO roster. I am sure that Dzhami will lead our club to many more victories!”
Jame's career highlights feature a Major MVP medal, earned during the IEM Rio Major, which saw him and his teammates triumph under the Outsiders banner. This memorable victory occurred amidst organizational changes caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, resulting in the team's relocation to Armenia.
“I have been with Virtus.pro for a very long time, the club has become a second home for me, so the decision to extend the contract was quite a simple one,” Jame said after penning the extension.
“We have a great mutual understanding with the players, coaching staff and management, we all want to achieve victories and we are ready to work really hard for it. I’m happy to spend many more years with the Bears!”
