IEM Rio Showmatch – Brazilian vs Swedish Legends

IEM Rio will be one of the biggest CSGO tournaments of the year, attracting the best players in the world. Naturally, the event will have tons of fans watching, so the organizers wanted to provide them with something special.

Besides the action from the top-rated teams worldwide, we will also have the chance to watch a show match. That said, this is not just any show match because it will include the living legends from Sweden and Brazil.

 

The Match

According to the information from ESL, the show match between Brazil and Sweden’s CSGO legends will take place on November 13. In other words, this match will be just before the start of the Grand Final. Hence, it will be held in the Jeunesse Arena.

As you can expect from a show match, it will include most people’s favorite players. ESL really wanted to make this special, which is why every player on both rosters is in a league of his own.

Team Brazil

The players from Brazil’s squad were a part of SK and Luminosity's legendary squads, whereas the Europeans played for several teams, including Fnatic and NiP. Interestingly, some Brazilian superstars will actually participate in the Major because they are playing under the Imperial banner. The team defeated complexity, which means that we will see the likes of fer, FalleN and fnx.

Team Sweden

Sweden has always been one of the leading countries when it comes down to CSGO. As a result, the country can probably have 2 or even 3 all-star teams, and all of them will be epic. That said, the current roster for the show match consists of some of the most recognizable names in the game. Although most of them are no longer active, we can expect tons of action.
