No doubt you’ve heard of Valorant taking over the competitive first-person shooter space and its recent rise to prominence. It will undoubtedly become a top esport in the future and you should definitely consider dipping your toes into the game if you haven’t already. Riot Games launched Valorant as a free-to-play game without the “pay-to-win” aspects that similar games are released with. It's important to note that as of the release of this article, Valorant is exclusively played on PC. So if you’re a Mac, mobile or console gamer, you’re out of luck.
How to Download Valorant
Before getting started, you’ll have to register an account within the Riot client. You can do this by heading over to the Create Account page. If you’ve played League of Legends previously, you can use that account’s log-in information to play the game. If you’ve played League of Legends previously, you can use that log-in information to head straight over to the download page by Signing In.
After entering the Valorant portal, you’ll be greeted by the Download page. From here, click the big red download button and you’ll be able to save the installer to your storage device. Launch the installer as soon as its finished downloading and the Valorant installation process will pop up. All that’s left to do is click install and wait patiently for the game to finish installing on your PC. This part depends heavily on your internet speed but thankfully, the game has a relatively small size under 10 gigabytes.

If you’re playing on a budget system, it may be beneficial to verify that your machine will handle the game in a playable state.
