After Heroic withdrew from BetBoom Dacha 2023, the organizers have announced the replacement team for the Scandinavian giants

Heroic was initially slated to participate in BetBoom Dacha 2023, scheduled to be held in Dubai, UAE, from December 5 to December 10. Due to roster complications, however, the Norwegian organization will not attend the Middle East event. In light of this, the organizers have announced the replacement team for the tournament, filling the spot left vacant by the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 champions.

Who Will Replace Heroic at BetBoom Dacha 2023?

Gamerlegion are swooping in to take Heroic's spot at the $300,000 CS2 showdown in Dubai, UAE. FISSURE, the event organizer, has formally declared the Paris Major 2023 runner-ups as the designated replacement team for Heroic.

Heroic withdraw from the competition as they navigate through a transitional phase. They waved goodbye to Martin “⁠stavn⁠” Lund and Jakob “⁠jabbi⁠” Nygaard, shipping them off to Astralis. The team's veteran leader, Casper “⁠cadiaN⁠” Møller, is also on the brink of departing following the conclusion of the BLAST Fall Final.

GamerLegion step in as the replacement team at BetBoom Dacha after a rollercoaster ride. Janusz “⁠Snax⁠” Pogorzelski and company has had a tense run, almost securing a playoff spot at IEM Sydney, but ultimately suffered a devastating loss against FaZe. Their performance dipped significantly afterward, leading to an early exit during the group stage at ESL Challenger Jönköping.

Despite these ups and downs, the team is gearing up for their next challenge at Elisa Masters Espoo, scheduled to kick off on November 29. Following this event, they're setting their sights on the United Arab Emirates for the upcoming BetBoom Dacha 2023 CS2 event.

When Will BetBoom Dacha 2023 CS2 Event Take Place?

BetBoom Dacha 2023 will kick off with a GSL best-of-three group stage on December 5 before diving into a nail-biting single-elimination playoff showdown. The tournament's grand final, which will be a best-of-five affair, will be held on December 10.
