G2 vs Astralis Preview and Predictions: IEM Cologne 2023

IEM Katowice 2023 champions G2 will begin their IEM Cologne 2023 campaign with the G2 vs Astralis Group B Upper Bracket Quarterfinal matchup 

After a perfect IEM Cologne 2023 Play-In run, Astralis will look to extend their excellent form into the group stages. Their first challenge, however, will not be an easy one as they are set to lock horns with the reigning IEM Katowice champions G2. Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen’s men are the CSGO betting favorites since they will also enjoy home turf advantage.

G2 suffered early elimination from the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023 following a 2-0 defeat to Natus Vincere. G2's Nikola ‘NiKo' Kovač and Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač combined for 100 kills across two maps but couldn't overcome NAVI's Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyljev, whose outstanding performance, along with Valerij “b1t” Vakhovsjkyj and Justinas “jL” Lekavicius's impressive displays, led to NAVI's 16-14 victories on Inferno and Mirage.
