Fortnite: The LeBron James Teasers Have Begun

LeBron James is on his way to Fortnite Battle Royale.

The King’s arrival is imminent, and the whole world is on notice. Last week, many noteworthy leakers within the Fortnite scene confirmed that Epic Games is preparing to reveal the four-time NBA Champion’s in-game characterization finally.  LeBron James will join other globally recognized athletes such as soccer stars Harry Kane and Neymar Jr in the Fortnite’s exclusive ICON Series.

Involving Popular Content Creators

Epic Games has officially launched its marketing campaign to generate interest and intrigue. Fortnite’s own content king — Ali “SypherPK” Hassan — received a promotional crown to honor LeBron James’ arrival. Additionally, Epic included a card that states the following:

“On July 14, the Fortnite Item Shop will be taken over by an icon like no other. Until then, feel free to consider yourself Fortnite’s interim king. (So long as the crown fits).”

Fortnite fans now have the official release date of July 14 to mark on their calendars. The basketball superstar will join the ICON Series and Fortnite’s impressive cast of characters on that date. Fortnite World Champion Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf received the same package.

He took to Instagram with the hashtag #thekinghasarrived in anticipation of this long-awaited release. The King himself has not yet acknowledged his upcoming presence in Fortnite, but we can expect something in the coming days. It’ll be an exciting week for LeBron, considering his new movie, Space Jam: A New Legacy hits theaters and HBO Max next Friday, July 16. We’ll be sure to watch closely for more leaks ahead of LeBron James’ skin release on July 14. Until then, head over to Believer Beach in-game for a look at more Epic’s teasers.
