After a short break, Epic Games is teaming up with Fortnite creators once again to produce unique in-game competitions. The developers have hosted several in prior seasons with the Nick Eh 30 Cup, Mongraal Cup and EmadGG Cup, amongst many others. Some key names have not yet received their own tournaments, including Fortnite veteran and content machine Ali “SypherPK” Hassan. That remained the case until now. Epic Games has officially unveiled the trios SypherPK Cup.

SypherPK Cup Dates and Format
In the past, Epic has worked closely with these creators and players to construct a tournament structured to their liking. SypherPK selected trios as the format for his Fortnite competition. It will be two rounds on NA East servers, occurring on February 17 and February 18. Here is the general structure you’ll want to know:
Round 1 (Feb 17)
- Three-hour session
- A maximum of ten matches
- Top 300 teams advance (900 players total)
Round 2 (Feb 18)
- Three-hour session
- A maximum of ten matches
- Top 10 ten teams earn a cash prize
SypherPK Cup Scoring System
SypherPK developed a scoring system that awards 25 points to each game’s winning team. Additionally, every elimination is worth one point. Here is the entire scoring system breakdown:
- Victory Royale 25 points
- 2nd 20 points
- 3rd 16 points
- 4th 14 points
- 5th 13 points
- 6th 12 points
- 7th 11 points
- 8th 10 points
- 9th 9 points
- 10th 8 points
- 11th 7 points
- 12th 6 points
- 13th 5 points
- 14th 4 points
- 15th 3 points
- 16th 2 points
- 17th 1 point
- Each Elimination: 1 point

SypherPK Cup Prize Pool
Epic Games allocated a $10K USD prize pool to the SypherPK Cup. The winning trio will walk away with $2K USD. No team inside the top-ten leaves the competition empty-handed. Here is the complete prize pool breakdown:

Teams looking to compete in this tournament need to sign up beforehand. You can do so by visiting this website to register. All entrants must be in before the action begins on February 17. You may even get a chance to compete against SypherPK himself.
