Pro Fortnite player Saf joins Team SoloMid.

Team SoloMid broke some major news earlier today regarding one of Fortnite's best competitors in the Battle Royale's three-year history. TSM became one of the first esports organizations to neroli in Fortnite. The original trio of Hamlinz, Daequan and Myth helped grow Fortnite into what it eventually became, a culturally iconic Battle Royale title. In recent months, Team SoloMid has snatched up some outstanding Fortnite talents, including Leon “Khanada” Khim.

Today, they've added multiple-time Fortnite Champion Rocco “Saf” Morales to their already impressive roster. After spending nearly two full years with Ghost Gaming, Saf became one of the most sought after free agents in competitive Fortnite. He has now found his home with one of the most recognizable esports organizations in history.

Team SoloMid made it official earlier today on Twitter as did Saf live on his Twitch stream. The announcement trailer followed a similar pattern of player reveals in the past. The organization compiled some of Saf's mot impressive clips and set them to music. TSM also released a news post on their website, stating,

“Today, TSM is announcing that Rocco “Saf” Morales is officially a part of our competitive Fortnite lineup! For those unfamiliar with the professional Fortnite scene, Saf has been a titan ever since he started competing in 2018. In one of his first ever tournament showings (Week 3 of Epic's 2018 Summer Skirmish), Saf and his partner Zayt demolished their adversaries – winning the tournament despite disconnecting for one of their games.”

Saf, too spoke about joining Team SoloMid after spending several months on the free-agent market.

Saf joins Khanada, EmadGG, ZexRow, MackWood, Commandment and Slappie on Team SoloMid's competitive Fortnite roster. He brings with him an insane track record of accomplishments that not many can rival over the last two years.

Saf's Competitive History

Since embarking on his professional Fortnite quest, Saf has reached the highest of highs. He and duo partner NRG Zayt have won multiple tournaments, most notably including the ESL Katowice Royale offline tournament in 2019 and recently the FNCS Chapter 2 – Season 2. Saf and Zayt also took fourth place at the Fortnite World Cup. Recently, Saf, Zayt and STRETCH of Team Liquid have found success as a trio in Chapter 2 – Season 3. Only a few players can say that they have accomplished as much as Saf in Fortnite. He is undoubtedly one of the best players considering his achievements and consistency over time.

All in all, TSM added one of Fortnite's most decorated competitors since 2018. Saf will represent the Team SoloMid black, white and grey moving forward with hopes of continuing his outstanding career.
