Fortnite: Recycler Weapon Leaked In Season 6

A new weapon is on the horizon in Fortnite Season 6.

Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 6 revealed many new weapons for players to learn and understand. Most notably, bows occupy much of the loot pool on top of newly introduced Primal and Makeshift weapons. These all exist under this season's theme, where players can craft guns and tame animals. In addition to all of this season's new features, Epic Games has more tricks up its sleeves. Fortnite leaks have unveiled a brand new weapon that should appear this season named tentatively named ‘the Recycler.'

New Recycler Weapon

Fortnite leaker HYPEX was one of the first to uncover this brand new weapon. “Upcoming “Recycler” Weapon, it will suck in/recycle some type of ammo/mats and shoot a “Junk Bomb”, Here's some more text related to it,” he wrote in his tweet. The Recycler's appearance bears a striking resemblance to the Chug Cannon from Season 5 and Bandage Bazooka from past seasons, which means it may occupy two inventory slots. It's not clear yet whether the Recycler weapon can break active builds or if it will suck up materials that are on the ground. However, there was a glimpse of this new weapon wielded by Cluck in the Battle Pass trailer.

Recycler Weapon Spotted in the Trailer

The image above depicts what the Recycler will look like in the hands of a player. Again, it seems the same as the Bandage Bazooka and Chug Cannon, so it could be similar in that regard when Epic finally releases it in a future update. It's worth wondering if it has any connection to the Junk Rift, a controversial item that made a brief appearance back in Season X. The Recycler could also appear as an Exotic item, purchasable only from NPCs on the map. We can only imagine what sort of chaos the Recycler could bring to Fortnite Battle Royale.
