Fortnite: Marvel Knockout Super Series Venom Cup Format, Date, Scoring System & More

Fortnite will round out its Marvel character tournaments with Venom.

Epic Games revealed its fourth and final entry into its Marvel Knockout Super Series. To this point, players worldwide had competed in the Daredevil Cup, Ghost Rider Cup and Black Widow Cup for a chance to win each popular Marvel Comics character model before they went live on the item shop. Spider-Man villain Venom will now join the star-studded lineup to complete the series. The Venom Cup will be the final tournament leading into the $1 million Super Cup.

Venom Cup Format

Key Info:

→ Lifetime account level 30 or higher
→ Account must have 2FA on
→ Full party must meet the above requirements as well.

The Venom Cup will utilize the same duos format that Epic Games switched to for the Black Widow Cup. Teams of two will queue into several Marvel Knockout matches, to earn enough points and win a free skin. Players will spawn with randomly generated Marvel superhero abilities and will have to outduel the opposing teams. Successful duos will win themselves the new Venom Set for free. Refer below for the full format breakdown:

Three-hour session
Ten matches maximum
The highest point earners will claim the Venom skin

Here is a quick refresher of how the Marvel Knockout LTM works:

70/50/30 material caps
No KO, instantly die and respawn
Duos or Trios, depending on the queue.
200 HP max
100 Shield Max
No Inventory, instead spawn with 4 Marvel Themed Mythic weapons and/or items.
Takes place in a named location on the map, with a small storm circle that slowly shrinks. The Storm deals very high damage.

Venom Cup Scoring System

Victory Royales come at a premium, with 25 points going to each winning team. Those looking to win Venom will need to maximize their opportunities.

1st: 25 points
2nd: 10 points
3rd-4th: 5 points
5th-8th: 3 points
9th-16th: 1 point

Venom Cup Prize Pool for Session 1

The Venom Cup will not offer any monetary prizes, as we mentioned previously. Teams in each competitive region will need to place inside a specific threshold to win the Venom Set.

Second Chance to Win

Duos who do not find success during the first Venom Cup session will have another chance to do so.

“For this leg of the Marvel Super Series, we’re giving eligible players two separate windows to compete on the same day. If you didn’t perform your best in the first window — or missed it altogether — you and your Duo will have a second opportunity to redeem yourself a few hours later.”
