Fortnite Leaks Indicate Another Venom Skin In The Works

Leaks have indicated Epic is planning to release another Venom skin, and ESTNN has the latest.

Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 8 is officially underway, and it offers perhaps one of the better Battle Passes in recent memory. Epic toned down the crossovers for this outing, focusing on original concepts such as fan-favorite Charlotte and cereal mascot—Fabio Sparklemane. It's a refreshing group of characters, but the main event of Season 8's Battle Pass brings Fortnite’s ongoing Marvel Comics collaboration back into the fold.

Spider-Man villain Cletus Kasady, better known as Carnage, made his long-rumored appearance in Fortnite. While players will need to reach level 100 to unlock him, recent leaks revealed another planned symbiotic crossover in the works this season.

Second Venom Skin Planned

Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR made a curious discovery about the current Carnage set, connecting the dots that another Venom is on the way.

“The Carnage skin is part of the “Symbiotes” set. Since this is the plural of the word “Symbiote”, this further confirms that we will actually be getting a new Venom skin!

The first Venom skin is not part of this set, but its own set called ‘Venom.'”

The evidence above indicates a second version of the Marvel Comics antihero. Epic Games introduced the original Venom character outfit on November 20, 2020. This release occurred during the Marvel-themed Chapter 2 – Season 4, where characters from the Marvel universe invaded the island.

With Carnage now in Fortnite and Venom: Let There Be Carnage only a few weeks from hitting theaters, it makes sense that Epic is developing another iteration of the popular Spider-Man character. It's unclear how different the new Venom outfit will appear compared to his 2020 counterpart, but we can expect more information in the coming weeks!
