Fortnite: How to Unlock Green Goblin

Spider-Man's archrival Green Goblin glides into Fortnite Battle Royale as a playable character.

Spider-Man made his long-rumored appearance to begin Fortnite Chapter 3. The latest Fortnite x Marvel collaboration continued a trend dating back to 2018 with the game’s first of many ground-breaking crossovers. Since then, we’ve seen the likes of Captain America, Deadpool, Iron Man and more of Marvel’s endless cast drop onto Fortnite’s Island; it seems 2022 is another year for Fortnite x Marvel to thrive.

Green Goblin — an arch-nemesis of Spider-Man — is the latest to join Fortnite. The supervillain is now unlockable in-game, and we have all the information you need.

How to Unlock Green Goblin

Fortnite Chapter 3 has seen seven variations of Spider-Man thus far, including a No Way Home version, and now we can add Green Goblin to the mix. As of 7 PM EST this evening, one of Spider-Man’s most revered enemies.

His presence in Fortnite comes with plenty of suitable pumpkin-themed items and, of course, the Goblin’s patented glider. The entire set is available via Fortnite’s Item Shop individually and in a bundle. Those who purchase the bundle also receive an exclusive Loading Screen.

Here is a complete list of unlockable items per Epic Games:

Fortnite Green Goblin 2

  • Green Goblin Cosmetic Outfit — 1,500 V-Bucks
  • Pumpkin Bomb Back Bling (sold with the Outfit)
  • Pumpkin P'axe — 800 V-Bucks
  • Goblin Glider — 800 V-Bucks
  • Arm the Pumpkin! Emote — 200 V-Bucks
  • Attack of the Goblin Loading Screen (available only through the bundle)
  • Green Goblin Bundle — 2,100 V-Bucks

Epic Games does not divulge how long items will be in the Item Shop. However, we can assume it’ll be a couple of days or perhaps longer. You’ll want to stay tuned to Fortnite’s social media channels to see when Green Goblin will exit the Item Shop.

Expect more Marvel characters to appear in Fortnite throughout the year as the game’s cast continues expanding.
