How do you know what to loot and what to ignore? The top Chapter 4 Season 4 weapons are a real cut above the rest.
The loot pool has changed quite a bit since the start of the season, especially with Fortnitemares. We’re now looking at one of the fullest varieties of weapons, with tons of choice in each category. If you want to get your hands on the best Fortnite C4 S4 weapons, these are the best items and the worst ones you might be better off avoiding.
Fortnite C4 S4 Weapons Tier List
S Tier – Fortnite C4 S4 Weapons
The S Tier is the absolute peak of the weapons this season. This time around, it actually includes a lot of the new content for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4. Guns you might chose a C4 S4 landing spots just to get.
Some of the very best items are brand-new ones. These are the top-tier and best Fortnite C4 S4 Weapons.
Twin Mag Assault Rifle
Twin Mag Assault Rifle is the new AR for the season with a bit of a unique mechanic. This reuses the old twin mag mechanic from SMGs. Players can use the first side of the mag, with a quick reload letting you keep firing.
It’s a great way to make an ARs magazines go further. There’s more working in its favor though. The Twin Mag also hits much harder and has versatility across quite a few different ranges. It’s one of the best weapons in the Fortnite C4 S4 weapons tier list at the moment.
Business Turret
For one of the most impressive new Fortnite C4 S4 weapons is the Business Turret. This is an automated turret you can use. It will auto target any enemy in your vicinity. Throwing one of these down can completely change a fight.
You can only carry two, but since you can pick these back up afterwards, they can basically last forever. There are more counters now, but they’re still very useful especially in Zero Builds.
Suppressed Sniper Rifle
The Suppressed Sniper Rifle is back this season! This is a weapon that’s now competing with the thermal DMR. The extra strength behind the single-shot sniper makes it an easy pick for one of the best weapons though.
You’ll have to have great aim to get the most out of it though. Fortnite aim trainers might help you use a Sniper Rifle better in-game too.
Sticky Grenade Launcher
The Sticky grenade Launcher has been surprisingly dominant for the current season of Fortnite. It’s really best used in Builds, in Zero Build it would likely be a tier down. The Grenades can take out a wall and they attach directly to them. With the delay before explosion, it’s basically a guaranteed shotgun hit if you’re fast enough. For a meta often tied down by FN box fights this weapon is vital.
Pumpkin Launcher
The Pumpkin Launcher is back! It’s the standard rocket launcher, but with the added benefit that current Augments mean you’re never short on ammo. This thing is very useful and it feels like being back in the unlimited rocket days, which might be coming back with the old map returning soon anyway.
Witch Broom
The Witch’s Broom is also back for the Fortnitemares event! This is the best Mobility tool right now. It’s less dangerous than a rocket ram and just as good for getting around.
Kit’s Shockwave Launcher
Kit’s launcher is great for rotation, use in combat, there’s tons of different ways to use it offensively too. The main drawback is the lack of ammo but newer augments have fixed it.
Foundation’s MK-Seven Assault Rifle
The Foundation’s MK is a fantastic gun. It’s been nerfed once but little can halt its stopping power. It’s the best option for mid-range, the only catch being it might not even be in every game. Otherwise, it’s at the very top of the Fortnite C4 S4 weapons tier list.
Sharp Tooth Shotgun
The Sharp Tooth is still a great Pump in Fortnite, nothing can beat its power this season. In Zero Builds the Infiltrator might just take it. For BR though, the sticky grenade launcher and one-shot pumps are a lethal combo in skilled hands.
Thorne’s Vampiric Blade
A new Mythic for Fortnitemares, the Kinetic Blade is back in a one-of-a-kind form. This is a fantastic weapon, both for mobility and damage. Your main drawback is that it’s a little difficult to acquire, but it’s still worth looting if you get to Eclipsed Estates.
A Tier – Fortnite C4 S4 Weapons
The A Tier is the next rank down These are all still really strong weapons. In most other seasons they would definitely be S tier, but with so many strong items this time around some have to drop down a tier. These are of the A Tier weapons that just missed out on the best Fortnite C4 S4 weapons.
- Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle – The Havoc AR is another that definitely has its fans and pluses. It’s outgunned by the Twin mag this season though.
- Thermal DMR – This is good for scouting, does decent damage, and is more forgiving than you’d expect. However, the sniper just hits so much harder.
- Tactical DMR – A nice carry, but just doesn’t do enough to change things over the Thermal.
- Combat SMG – The Combat SMG is still a strong weapon, but there are some better options in this category now. This is more a victim of how wide the Fortnite C4 S4 weapons are.
- Heisted Accelerant Shotgun – The Exotic Accelerant Shotgun’s speed boost feature is nice and adds a lot. That it is still a Maven on the base level does hold it back a bit though.
- Heisted Run ‘N’ Gun SMG – The Heisted Run and Gun works well as a weapon, but it’s the unlimited sprinting that really comes in handy.
- Rocket Ram – The Rocket Ram is great for mobility, but it’s also kind of easy to beam players using it.
- Infiltrator Pump Shotgun – Quicker but slightly weaker than the Sharp Tooth. This is a good middle ground for those with less certain aim.
- Zyg and Choppy’s Ray Gun – Ray gun does good damage and has the bonus of unlimited ammo. Not an every-game carry but too much fun to be any lower in the C4 S4 weapons.
- Kit’s Charge Shotgun – The Charge Shotgun is the most powerful shotgun this season, but there’s only one and it can be unreliable.
B Tier – Best Fortnite C4 S4 Weapons
The next tier down in the B. They can be useful if you have a very specific play style. However, they are a bit too niche or circumstantial.
- TNTina’s Kaboom Bow – Maybe the worst mythic, just kind of useless. Can be fun but the explosions aren’t even consistent.
- Wood Stake Shotgun– A new shotgun to take down Vampires, its strange wooden projectiles make it a bit fiddly to use. Outplayed by both Pumps this season.
- Maven Auto Shotgun – The Maven is too slow and weak to compete with any of the other shotguns in the Fortnite C4 S4 weapons.
- Gunnar’s Stinger SMG – Gunner’s SMG isn’t even a good SMG, despite being a Mythic.
- Midas’ Drum Gun – The Drum gun was a top pick in C4, but its not the same here. It feels heavily nerfed and just doesn’t fit anymore. Using the best Fortnite settings for better aim can help but it’s largely outdone.
- Ocean’s Bottomless Chug Jug – Great for healing until you get slurps. Then it’s far too slow.
C Tier – Fortnite C4 S4 weapons tier list
The C Tier weapons are on the most part just too circumstantial here. These are weapons that are only really useful in very specific situations, which isn’t good enough to carry as one of only five inventory slots.
- Remote Explosives
- Suppressed Pistol
- Heisted breacher Shotgun
- Shadow Tracker
That’s how everything ranks for the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 weapons tier list. There are tons of great Fortnite C4 S4 weapons here. It’s maybe the season with the most Mythics and OP weapons right at the start. We can probably expect some nerfs to start arriving at the Fortnite C4 S4 weapons, so keep an eye on Fortnite news to see how things change over the seasons.
