Best Landing Spots in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4

What are the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4? These are the top spots to drop in the newest season of Fortnite.

The new season of Fortnite has tons of great landing spots players can jump into. The map has finally had changes outside of a single biome with the new season and it feels like there’s more going on around the island than there has been so far in Chapter 4. The latest map is definitely a step in the right direction in terms of how Epic handles map changes. The Chapter 4 map has finally started to feel alive, and there’s more disparity than ever from where you land.

Thanks to the new Fortnite Heists mechanic, a few landing spots will see you leaving with top tier loot and multiple Mythic items. Other spots will just yield the general chests and the normal grind to get decent gear. It’s a season with bigger differences between Fortnite landing spots than ever before. The best C4 S4 landing spots are a big advantage.

If you want to go for a vault every game or just want a quiet start, there are some great picks for where to land in Fortnite C4 S4. These are the top landing spots in Fortnite C4 S4.

Best Landing Spots in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4

Eclipsed Estate – Best C4 S4 Landing Spots for Action

Best landing spots in Fortnite chapter 4 season 4

The first of the new POIs is our first pick for the best C4 S4 landing spots. This is a new POI which means It’s got one of the brand-new vaults. You’re getting guaranteed Mythics here and maybe more than one if you take down the boss and raid the vault. As one of the new POIs with high value loot, you’ll need to be ready for a fight or two. You can’t just drop in and expect to have your pick of all the loot. However, if you can take out the boss first, you’ll come away with the best Fortnite C4 S4 weapons.

Eclipsed Estate is probably the busiest of the new POIs and the top pick for a lot of players for where to land in Fortnite C4 S4. It’s the most central which has obvious benefits for rotation. If you’re willing to take a fight though it’s the best landing spot right now.

Reckless Retreat – Best Landing Spots in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 for Mythics

Best landing spots in Fortnite chapter 4 season 4

The next of the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is another of the new POIs. Like the last, you’re mainly dropping here for the Mythic, Vault, and Heist Bags that give guaranteed high-level loot. It’s a pretty good spot for even full teams to get kitted up. This POI has a trade-off compared to the others though, it’s terrible for rotation.

This POI is way off where the ocean used to be. Anyone who remembers the history of the Fortnite map and particularly Chapter 2’s more distant POI will know the problem here. Even circles towards your end will rarely be over this POI.

You pretty much always have to rotate out of the storm if you take the vault. This also means it’s on the quieter side of the new POIs though. It may be the only new POI this season where you land and take the vault occasionally completely uncontested. If it’s the storm circle though you can expect a lot of other players. Some have even gotten insane elim counts at this POI.

Sanguine Suites

Sanguine Suites is the final one of the new Heist locations this season. You’re also getting your pick of Mythic and other bonuses landing here. Like Reckless Retreat, this spot is also a bit out of the way and you’ll likely need to rotate quite far. Since this one heads into the ice biome with its many launchpads though, it isn’t as big of a problem. That’s a bigger factor making it one of the best C4 S4 landing spots. There’s no moat of water separating you from the mainland either. This one is a balance between the other two new POI’s best and worst qualities. It’s a bit quieter than Eclipsed Estate, but not as remote as Relentless Retreat.

Rumble Ruins – Where to Land in Fortnite C4 S4 for Easy Rotation

Best landing spots in Fortnite chapter 4 season 4

One of the spots that hails from Chapter 4 Season 3 has stayed pretty relevant this season. Rumble Ruins is also home to another vault this season. While you’re not going to get a Mythic here, there are much fewer defences for you to deal with. It’s a lot easier for you to walk in, grab your loot, and walk out without much resistance. You’re still getting plenty of rare chests in this vault too.

Rumble Ruins is one of the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4, especially for the location. It’s one of the most central spots on the map. Rotation isn’t a problem here. With all the mobility added in the jungle, it’s a great start to any game.

Mega City

Best Landing Spots in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

Mega City was the headline new POI a couple of seasons back but it’s remained relevant for a few key reasons. The first is the sheer abundance of loot. Mega City is huge and it has more loot spawns than we’ve ever seen in any other POI. This alone makes it a great Fortnite C4 S4 landing spot.

On top of that though, it’s got great mobility for rotating away. There are tons of vehicle spawns, grind rails, and even launchpads on the south side. It’s easy to get out. There’s also a decent vault hidden here still, so you’re getting rare chests if you contest that too.

Knotty Nets – Best C4 S4 Landing Spots for Keys

Best landing spots in Fortnite chapter 4 season 4

Knotty Nets is our first pick for the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 that doesn’t contain one of this season’s new vaults. Why would land somewhere without one? Well, rare chests aren’t the only way to get kitted up. There’s a specific strategy to landing at knotty nets which is an alternative way to get high level loot.

The eastern island at Knotty Nets and the smaller one above features a few safe spawns. This is one spot where to land in Fortnite C4 S4 with guaranteed safes. These provide gold when opened but also lockbox keys. You can load up on keys (even better if you get the keymaster Augment) and then rotate over to the rest of the biome which is stuffed with lockboxes. There you get your pick of high-level loot, with the randomness minimized. This is a quieter landing spots and you’ll need to put the leg work in, but it’s a viable strategy this season.

Slappy Shores

Best Landing Spots in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3

The last of our picks for the best Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 landing spots is Slappy Shores. This west-most POI has long been a quiet fan favourite on this map. It’s great density for chests, a capture point, and it is a lot more central than it feels thanks to its easy road access and cards. The many different levels of terrain around the slap factory always make for entertaining opening fights too.

There is a smaller vault now in the slap factory which helps make it one of the best C4 S4 landing spots, but this POI still has all of its charms. It isn’t going to be the busiest drop but it’s great if you want a compromise between action and safety.

Shady Stilts

Best landing spots in Fortnite chapter 4 season 4

Shady Stilts is a spot that hasn’t had too many changes from last season, but it might still be worth landing here. Out of all the named locations as one of the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4, this one is on the quieter side, so you won’t have to fight off as many players to get your loot. It’s also right by two of the C4 S3 puzzle dungeons, which have had their puzzles removed this season. That means you can simply waltz in and grab all the loot you want, no frustrating lamp puzzles are needed.

Those are all of our picks for the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4. Each of these spots offers something different. It’s tempting just to go for the new vaults as where to land in Fortnite C4 S4. However, the other spots are still fairly viable. Even if your pick of Fortnite C4 S4 landing spot is going to come down to if you want a mythic that game or not!
