Fortnite: Black Panther, Captain Marvel and Taskmaster Skins Leaked in Season 5

Marvel Comics' collaboration with Fortnite: Battle Royale is not over just yet.

Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 4 featured the first-ever exclusive Marvel crossover on a massive scale. Epic Games featured numerous Marvel characters last season, including Doctor Doom and Iron Man, who received dedicated locations aptly named Doom's Domain and Stark Industries. Additionally, superheroes like Groot, Thor and Wolverine were available through Season 4's Battle Pass. The season-ending “Devourer of Worlds” event broke viewership records and concluded the Marvel storyline, but some Fortnite leakers revealed more characters in Fortnite's arsenal. Black Panther, Taskmaster and Captain Marvel will each appear in a future Item Shop update.

Black Panther, Taskmaster & Captain Marvel

ShiinaBR and Guille_GAG combined to produce this exciting new revelation. The two Fortnite leakers revealed Fortnite versions of three new Marvel characters – Black Panther, Taskmaster and Captain Marvel. All three will release in the “Marvel: Royalty & Warriors Pack.” Although there is no tentative release date, we can expect to see them sometime in the future. Black Panther, Taskmaster and Captain Marvel will each receive their own set, presumably including a pickaxe, glider and back bling.

Guille_GAG revealed after patch 15.10 that a Wakanda Forever emote would also appear in a future update along with a string of Black Panther challenges. The Black Panther skin, emote and challenges could be Fortnite's way of honoring the death of Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman. He tragically passed away recently after a long bout with colon cancer. ShiinaBR revealed the Black Panther challenges, and here the full list:

• Visit different Snowmando outposts
• Deal damage with Lever Action Rifle
• Play matches
• Outlast opponents
• Play Duo or Squad matches
• Complete all Black Panther quests

Accomplishing all challenges might unlock the Wakanda Forever emote, but no sources have confirmed that assumption.
