Fortnite: $1 Million Marvel Super Cup Format, Dates, Prize Pool & More!

Grab a duo partner and compete in the Fortnite $1 million Super Cup.


Fortnite: Battle Royale’s Marvel Knockout Super Series is nearing its end, which just so happens to offer a $1 million prize pool. Epic Games hosted a slew of Marvel character-specific tournaments building up to this grand finalè, where players had a chance to win Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Black Widow and Venom. Now, Epic is putting up a massive amount of money in the Marvel Super Cup. The tournament will take place on November 21 and Fortnite’s official channels will broadcast the tournament live on Twitch and YouTube. Players will need polish their Marvel Knockout skills to prepare for this final tournament.

Marvel Super Cup Format

The $1 million Marvel Super Cup is a duos tournament, open to players across all seven competitive Fortnite regions. Here is what to expect based on Epic’s blog post regarding this event:

“If you are eligible (and are up for the challenge), combine any learned skills from the Marvel Knockout Cups with your traditional Battle Royale abilities to battle it out against other Duo heroes for an opportunity to earn a share of $1,000,000 in cash prizes. Besides the addition of powers, the materials granted on elimination are reduced to 20 and a material cap set at 200 per material, so use your builds wisely!”

Duos will need to advance from round one to round two, where they will compete for a piece of the $1 million prize pool.

Round 1 Format

  • Three-hour session
  • Ten possible matches
  • Highest placing teams will move into round two

Round 2 Format

  • Three-hour session
  • Ten possible matches
  • Highest placing teams will earn cash prizes

Marvel Super Cup Scoring System

The Super Cup’s scoring system is vastly different from the last four character events. Lobbies will fill up as they usually do in a typical Fortnite match. Placement points begin at 45th and 55 points will go to the winning team of each match. Eliminations are worth 5 points. Here is the full scoring system breakdown:

  • Victory Royale: 55 Points

Marvel Super Cup Prize Pool

The Super Cup’s prize pool will be spread across the seven competitive Fortnite regions. Europe tops the list as it usually does, offering $4K USD to the winning duo. NA East falls right behind Europe with a hefty $3.5K USD going to the winners. Here is the full prize pool breakdown for EU and NAE:

Live Broadcast

Fortnite’s official broadcast will take place on November 21, beginning with Europe at 1 PM EST. The stream will wrap up at 8:30 after NA East. Here is the full broadcast schedule:
