FaZe content creator Rain claims the organization spends more than $500k per month to finance its CSGO unit
Longtime FaZe content creator Rain revealed that operating FaZe Clan's CSGO team comes with a hefty price tag. According to him, FaZe spends in the north of $500k every month to run its CSGO division. This considerable investment underscores the financial commitment necessary to sustain a top-tier team within the competitive landscape of CSGO.
In a recent YouTube video, Rain disclosed the monthly expenditures of FaZe Clan's various esports divisions. Specifically, he asserted that FaZe's CSGO squad requires an impressive $576,000 per month to sustain. Moreover, Rain emphasized the team's significant revenue generation, which amounted to an exact figure of $514,000.

The reported costs associated with FaZe Clan are substantial, but the CSGO team appears to be a standout performer in terms of revenue generation. With monthly earnings exceeding $500,000, the team surpasses other esports divisions that often face constant financial losses. Rain concisely summarized the organization's financial situation, revealing that when combining all the esports squads across numerous games, FaZe experiences a monthly loss peaking at $756,000.
The exorbitant cost attributed to FaZe Clan's CSGO team becomes more plausible when considering the caliber of players on their roster. Renowned figures like karrigan, ropz, and rain (a different individual from Rain) bring with them a reputation for exceptional skill on a global scale. Given the ongoing discourse surrounding the substantial salaries received by top CSGO professionals, it comes as no surprise that these players potentially earn more than $500,000 per month as a collective.
The success of FaZe Clan's CSGO team over the past 18 months has undoubtedly made it a prized asset for the organization. They have won prestigious events such as IEM Katowice 2022 and IEM Cologne 2022, which propelled FaZe to secure the Intel Grand Slam Season 3 title. Furthermore, their historic victory at the CSGO Major held in Antwerp last year solidified their standing as a formidable force in the competitive CSGO scene.
Rain, however, did not provide sources for the numbers he mentioned in his video. It’s possible that he has sourced them from reliable sources, but we would advise our readers to take his claims with a grain of salt.
