Falcons Announce Roster Shake-Up: kennyS Gets New Role, Python Benched

French-Saudi Arabian side Falcons' CSGO squad overhaul could result in an English-majority roster

In response to their failed Paris Major qualification campaign, Falcons have decided to bench Jordan “Python” Munck-Foehrle and reassign Kenny “kennyS” Schrub to the organization's content creation division. They took to Twitter to announce their future roster plans.

According to the statement, Falcons will try to assemble an English-speaking roster and take a break from competitive matches until they make new additions to the team. Falcons also disclosed that kennyS and the club had a pre-existing agreement that led to his latest designation.

Falcons attempted to strengthen their team last year ahead of the Paris Major European RMRs. kennyS signed in November to replace Bryan “Maka” Canda. Months later, Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro joined the team.

The arrival of the duo did temporarily boost Falcon's performances. They secured runner-up finishes at the Thunderpick Bitcoin Series 2 and OMEN WGR Challenge before cruising through the Closed Qualifiers to make it to the RMRs.

kennyS and company won against Sprout and MOUZ at the RMRs, but losses against GamerLegion and OG pushed them to the Last Chance Qualifiers, where they lost to BIG in a closely-fought affair to give up their Paris Major ambitions.

Python and kennyS had the worst numbers for Falcons at the RMR. They have also been the most underperforming players for the team in 2023. It, therefore, seemed evident that they will not be part of Falcons' active roster for the whole year.

The Old One
When he's not sighing at sub-standard teammates in Dota 2 and CS2, The Old One is writing about those two games (among other things). If you see his name around the site too many times for your liking, well, the guy just never stops writing. Yes, we've tried an intervention.
